Is it possible to open a bank account without having a physical presence in the country?
Do they offer any interest rate that would cover the inflation rate of the euro?
Is investing in swiss bonds easier?

It is possible to open a swiss bank account without having a physical presence in Switzerland.

If you're talking about foreign currency accounts they can do them as competitively as most worldwide banks.

However u do need to have a lot of cash to invest in order to open such an account.

I think UBS expect an initial investment of upwards of 100k for foreign investments.

I may be wrong but if it's hiding money ur after, they will understand this and charge you for this service in one way or another.

Check out their respective t & c's.

an remember, we pay their wages:)
