this girl i know goes to nursing school but she says it is a christian school what's the deal?

The school could be a nursing school supported by a church. After all nursing is a godly profession.

You'll have to be a little more specific... maybe she meant a Christian nursing school? I've never heard of such a thing. Or did she mean she was fulfilling her Christian duty by becoming a nurse? Or maybe she's crazy. Or maybe she thinks only Christians go there. Christians tend to have a habit of thinking they are the only group of people to inhabit any given space.

It means that the School may have been founded by a Church, or that it operates on a Christian set of values.

Just because she attends the school, it doesn't always mean she follows that religion.

It's like I'm wearing shoes, but it doesn't mean I'm walking.

Whats not to get? Its a school that has professors and classes except they have Christian values as a ground stone of the school.
