i am asking this because i have to write a 4 page persuasive essay on which sport is better

basketball is played more across the world than football but here in the US football gets more attention (the superbowl is MUCH more advertised than the NBA finals...you always here about the superbowl commercials yet never about the nba finals commercials)

We'll since your in a basketball pool I think most plp would say basketball!
I love the sport since I was 5 watching legends like Shaq, Jordan, and Hakeem dominate the 90's I was born in the late 80's so I did enjoy something! I wish I was born in the 70's so I could enjoy Magic and Bird.
Basketball is an art, dunking, crossover, lay-ups w/hang-time, passing the ball. All of it is an A-R-T. No other sport can emulate this other than soccer in my opinion!

i guess basketball is better for quick, tall people.
football builds more character and get to hang out with alot more different types of people. you normally have what 10-12 guys on a basketball team and you could have over 50 on a football team of all shapes and sizes.

Football easily. dont get me wrong i love basketball i think its an awesome sport but football has more contact and thats what i love.

umm, this is a tough one, i like bball better because u have to be in tremendous shape, u cant take a break in between plays, u have to play both offense and defense, u can play it while your alone, football u really cant do that, but on the other hand i like football, its a mans sport, u have to be able to take a lick, if your off by an inch ur screwed, i like both but i would go with bball by a hair

that is such a tough call. i think basketball is more exciting if you need constant movement but football has more suspense and 1 touchdown can win or lose a game on the regular. I don't know I can't call it. They are both awesome games.

I think football because it is actually a team sport you cant have one good player and be in the playoffs (Lebron, Kobe just to name 2)

its a personal opinion question...there's no sport thats better than another...they both completely different...almost like comparing oranges to apples...this is a bad topic for a persuasive essay...why dont you persuade people that professional athletes are paid wayyyyyy to much money these days...theres plenty of information online to help with your research
