Are we? I'm not. America is great, fantastic actually, great scenery and lovely friendly people, due back in January and I can't wait. It's funny but I see more British people being spiteful on here about the US then any Americans do us, says a lot doesn't it? Shame on you.

The rest of the world is laughing?
I doubt this very much, the Americans must be laughing at the Europeans letting all the migrants in from Africa the Middle east and Asia, the Economies in Europe might be increasing but the standard of living is getting worse. The Americans have a much higher standard of living and the only migrants they have to worry about are the Mexicans and that ain't all that bad seen some of the Mexican women also they are Christians just like the people living in the US so they don't have to put up with as much hassle as we do.

Lumping legal and unlawful immigration into the question is a typical spin by using people who choose for open borders and care no longer something approximately our very own custom and rules. maximum of those antagonistic to unlawful immigration have little challenge over legal immigration - in fact the particularly some maximum antagonistic human beings to unlawful immigration are kinfolk of those attempting to get right here legally and having to attend. unlawful immigrants selection greater then 10 million and particular as many as 20 million. they are little question a severe burden on colleges, well-being care and regulation enforcement - in fact they kill 25 human beings an afternoon interior the US - greater then the style of squaddies killed each and every day in Iraq - far greater.

That's not true! Don't make such generalizations! Is your perception of Americans based off of television and movies?
Alot of us are happy here. Alot of people like their country, what's wrong with that? No one is laughing actually, only someone stupid would be laughing. There is good and bad about every country, yours included.

Let them laugh. It's not the greatest country. But I live in a house, I have food to eat and clothes to wear. I'm not told where I can shop or work. And I don't have bombs dropping around me.
So I'm content for now

yes yes i do realise that but i don't care most americans' including myself think this country is going'no wait' has gone down the drain. i only like it here because this is where i grew up and i'm american so of course i love my country but in politics? no i don't like this country in that perspective i think it is very idiotic in politics. i know many americans will disagree with me but it's the truth. it's all this patriatism **** and all that really causes is for ppl to pretend everythings alright and great but if they keep that up the only thing that' gonna happen is were gonna fall. but don't be so mean you person you i like u and i don't even know you. btw- not like you like you but like u as in like all ppl in general

You shouldn't be so quick to speak for others, especially the rest of the world.

I'm actually very fond of the Yanks, and have more than a sneaking admiration for all that they accomplish.

Since when did you get the position of speaking for the whole world?

Just because our country has some faults, doesn't mean it doesn't have its virtues and its greatness, too.

Yes, we know many other countries don't like us - but those countries have their issues, too.
