I was told it was on the news a about half an hour ago that by next week gas prices will be going up another 20 cents. It's already $2.99 a gallon here now!
What are your thoughts on this and what are the prices where you are?

i think it sucks they have us and they know it. whats worse is the oil companies are going to make record profits off of the backs of us poor working slobs. gas right now for the lowest grade of gas here is 3.09 a gallon.

Gas here in Oregon are already between $3.03 and $3.16 a gallon for regular! I cannot imagine adding another 20 cents a gallon!

i heard about that on the news this morning! i think it's insane! i dont drive yet (only 14), but i do know that 2.99 is expensive for only 1 gallon. especially right before thankgiving, and all the traffic!
BTW- i live in Delaware

i try not to think about it. i stopped looking a long time ago. i fill up and drive off. no matter what i think or say gas will continue to rise and i will continue using it. i try to use my energy in places where i know it will make a difference. i have given up on the gas debate.

Nothing's sure but death, taxes and rising gas prices.
Gas is 2.95 here in the Hoosier state where I live.
