My father is really the illegitimate nephew of Joey "The Clown" Lombardo. My father's biological father was also named Lombardo, but left before my father was born (my dad the product of an adulterous affair). Apart from that, my father was somehow associated with the Joe Pesci's character in Casino (whose name I don't recall), and his brother -- both were killed and buried in a cornfield as portrayed in the movie. That's not to say my father and I are "connected." Nobody in my known family wants anything to do with that lifestyle. It's fun to watch mob movies, though.
