I usually always see that when I am ready I see that the faucet is closed properly. I know the value of how important water is, coming from a small island and we depend much on rain water. So we are continually remembered how water is important and especially to see that it is used properly and to see that you don't leave any taps running. Also my wife save clear washing machine water and use it for flushing and so use that water for a good purpose. We feel it is a pity to just use good water to just flush. So when we can we use this water from the washing machine.

I do it all the time but it doesn't stay on long. My water takes forever to get hot so if I need hot water to & I'm in the kitchen, I let it run for a minute to warm up while I continue w/ whatever it is I'm doing (in the same room).

When I draw a bath (my yankee husband makes fun of me for saying that, LOL), I let it fill up while I walk away & do something else.

I'm a multitasker, what can I say?

Never. I turn off my faucet while I'm brushing my teeth, as well. It's a habit to turn off the water. But I leave on lights all over the place, so I guess it equals eachother out. lol

Never, but I'm forever telling my son off for not turning the faucet off properly!
I have to follow him into the bathroom every time, and he's 18!

Not me. I grew up with The Water Nazi, aka my mom. I don't even leave the shower running as I was my body. No kidding, just me with a soapy washcloth and no water running until I've washed everything.

Not often. Though sometimes I leave it so there's a little dribble running down.. maybe once every two weeks. That's actually how I broke my bathroom's faucet, lol, now it won't shut off..

I accidentally kept leaving it on right after I had my second child..I was so tired I would do weird things like that.

Usually tho, I try to conserve as much as possible.

I never do that!! I cant afford to pay for lost water... and although there is plenty of water on this planet... our resources for driking water are dwindling away!!!

I only leave it running when I wash the dishes, or when I'm trying to warm something up.

I really don't. I live in Phoenix and I do what I can to keep the water bill down... it saves me money and my city water :)
