ok.... Here it is... green bean casserole, mashed sweet taters n marshmellows,mashed taters n gravy, a JUICY turkey,stuffin n gravy, PECAN pie with cool whip, and of course, with the leftovers I make enchiladas. now for the reality. Since it is just my hubby and me 2 kids, ( 10 and 4) we just go to Ryan's and eat the buffet and I make a pecan pie and a pumpkin pie with real whipped cream, when we get home, a little later, when the kids are getting ready for bed, and just before they go to bed, we have warm pies and milk, and talk about what we are thankful for from the year past and what we hope for for the new year . sounds mushy but that is what we do.

Pecan Pie, Chess Pie, Banana Pudding, Key Lime Pie, Corn Bread Dressing, Baked Beans, Mac N Cheese, Candied Sweet potatoes, Mashed potatoes, Deviled eggs, Potatoe Salad, and good ol' yeast rolls...
this is how we do it in the South!

I love turkey, but I'm making it on my own this year so I hope it comes out ok. lol I also LOVE pumpkin and apple pie, but, I won't be having it this year. Last night our weather was horrible so I never went out to get them, then today there was sleet/snow everywhere so I won't be going out :o( So everybody have an extra piece of pumpkin or apple pie for me!! :o)

A friend of mine used to make brocolli, cheese and rice casserole but I haven't had a major celebration with that family for years so I make another fave green bean casserole.
