Yes - when the brain does not get enough blood flow to function, but has enough blood flow to keep a person alive, they are likely to pass out, and then slip into a coma.

Your body would probably go into shock from blood loss before a coma set in

You'll pass out if you lose enough blood, but I don't think it's a coma. It isn't mentioned as a cause of a coma below.
