Plenty of recordings of the Preludes and Fugues. See link below or try typing "Shostakovich preludes" into Amazon or eBay.

He wrote 24 preludes and fugues. If you like one, maybe you'd like them all!

I really enjoy Keith Jarrett's recording:
http://www.amazon.com/Shostakovich-Preludes-Fugues-op-Jarrett/dp/B000006MTX/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1195048629&sr=8-2

Also would be worth checking out his piano concertos.

I don't have a favorite recording of these pieces, but
http://www.amazon.com/Shostakovich-Complete-Concertos-Heinrich-Schiff/dp/B0000C6IW1/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1195048680&sr=1-6
Has both of them, as well as his violin concertos and cello concertos. Great music.

Have fun!
