The good thing about Christianity is it allows criticism, doubt, mocking, joking and discussion of any kind. Islam does not and if you question anything you must be killed if possible. It seems to me some people who believe in Islam must really be very unsure about that religion and are intolerant in their own right. If there is a word said that is interpreted as offense they go ballistic. I believe in freedom of speech even in religion. Shame on those believers of Islam that smash and kill because they don't like what someone says about their religion and shame on people for not speaking out as a result of their actions.

On the assertion that Christianity is the last acceptable form of discrimation...
Come the eff off it! This whole concept that American Protestants are now suddenly this sad little victim group is not only patently ludicrous, it is deeply ignorant and offensive.
Walmart sees a profitable business rationale for trying not to alienate its many non-Christian patrons ("Happy Holidays") -- then Boo-Hoo! That's an attack on Christians!
Someone has the audacity to suggest that gays should share in the inalienable rights of man -- Oh, Gosh! Another attack on Christianity!
The truth is: White protestants are not merely NOT victims, they are arguably the most advantaged class of people in human history. For centuries, they have weilded a brutal oppression against anyone different from themselves, from Blacks to Catholics, and now that some of the oppressed are finally getting at least a nominal fair shake, those poor churchgoers are crying foul.
Also true: Not all Christians are ignorant, hateful, oppressive, militant, unpleasant bigots. Unfortunately, though, most of the ones holding the microphones are. Falwell, Robertson, et al.
Thos of you Christians who feel attacked ought to take out your impotent frustrations on these idiots. They are the ones who make you look silly.
As for us non-Christians, we have no problem with you. As long as you have the Patriotism and common sense to leave us alone.

No one attacks real Christians--only the imposters of the religious right. But they are not real Christians--they do not follow the Bible or Christ's teachins as they claim. Which is the reason they are attacked.
And--the truth s that the overwehlming majority of Muslims are law abiding and peaceful--including the millions of Amrican citizens who happen to follow that religion.
That didn't used to be true. Evangelical Christianity, although I don't follow one of those churches--used to be part of the core of American society. They are no longer. They traded in their Christianity for a political agenda and are suffering for that sin.
As for being kicked off Y/A--this is a forum provided by a private vendor and they set rules of conduct as a condition for allowing people to paarticipate. One of those is that racism or bigotry is grounds for being tossed. And--whether you like or not--the rules apply to you just as they do anyone else.
Bigotry and hate are not moral and are not Christian--and that is all your "truth about Islam" boils down to.

I lost one account for bashing Islam, but I admit that I went too far. However, it is wrong to give a violation notice to someone who just wrote the facts about Islam. It violates the principle of free speech. It happens when answerers say anything negative about a group, and Y/A doesn't care if the post if factual or not. They want us all to be nice.
The only groups that can be bashed with impunity at Y/A are whites, men, and Christians. If you are a white, male Christian, then you are the perfect target!

It's called hypocrisy and intolerance. Intolerance for Christianity and yes, there is a problem. Someone apparently cannot handle another point of view.
From what I have seen, Yahoo is big on giving violations on very minor posts.
So far we live in a free Country, but I see it slowly dwindling away with all this political correctness and intolerance.

I don't think there is much Christian bashing here, perhaps you are over sensitized to criticism, or perhaps you are confusing the politics board with the religion & spirituality board. I agree with your remark about censorship. There is too much of it on Y!A, and posts and users are sometimes deleted arbitrarily.

Yahoo is not just for Americans...
Has anyone explained to you how private websites on the WORLD WIDE WEB work?
Just curious...
Did you know that there are people with opinions in other countries?
Just curious...
Did you know that there is a difference for some people between speaking your mind and being just plain judgemental and mean?

Please get off the cross somebody needs the wood Mary. Why is it that whenever someone tells the truth about Christianity they are 'bashing' it? Face it. The world would be a better place without religion.

I believe Islam is a source of violence, ignorance, and poverty. Just like Chirstianity and all religions for that matter.
See, I'm fair. I wish all the fundamentalists out there would move to one continent and shred each other so I could be left alone.
You can have...Antarctica! Ok - now have at it.
