When your phone rings do you just answer it or check who it is!??

...check first...always...most of the time, this works well, but one time, recently, my son was calling me from a mechanic shop for a ride after he broke down...the number came up as
"unknown caller", so I ignored it...he usually calls me from his cell and that number I know...

I always check who it is. And depending on who it is, I sometimes let it go to voicemail and call the person back later.
But I hate talking on the phone, so....

I check who it is and if I don't recognize the number I don't answer.
