I love taking things to Wal-Mart to see if I can get a store credit. I even went fishing in the duck pond near my house and returned some fish. I got the 'roll back' price which was .47 per fish, but it was worth it.

That's probably the best thing I've ever heard.

You can return items without a receipt given 1) They still carry the item in the location you are returning it 2) You must have all original packaging including the UPC code that was on the merchandise 3) You must have a valid state issued ID or Driver's liscense and have not done more than 3 separate unreciepted return transactions in the past 45 days 4) If the store still refuses call 1-800-Wal-Mart...these policies are comapany wide and stores may try to change them but are technically not allowed to deviate from them And yes, it will be put on a merchandise credit which is valid at any Wal-Mart or Sam's Club in the US

I don't have cable TV at my house so I find ways to entertain myself.....so I had a twelve year old take a box of spent 9MM rounds to the local Wal-Mart and ask for a refund/exchange for a fresh rounds because...."the ones he had purchased were faulty because he didn't hit a single thing he was shooting at"

They exchanged the box for fresh ammo...

Does this worry anyone else?

This is an ongoing source of entertainment for us.....We've tried to return everything from store brand generic medication from another pharmacy to Electronics with the receipt from another retailer...

But look at it this way....at least Wal-Mart is providing a future for those that successfully completed their 5th grade educations and their third stint through drug rehab.

try this:

step 1: dig up some dirt from an empty lot somewhere
step 2: fill up five plastic wal•mart bags with the dirt (get it a tiny bit moist if it's really dry)
step 3: bring it back, claiming it's potting soil that you purchased from the lawn & garden department, but you threw away the packaging. you could even try telling them that it killed your plants, and it must have been defective.

i bet they'd take it back.

bonus! for extra credit, tell them you want some free plants to replace the ones that the soil killed, then bring the plants back later. owned!

A shotgun! Try walking into the store with it out, they wont let you return it (thats if you manage to take 2 steps into the store without being shot)

Naked pictures of you ex is a good one to try! I am sure that even if walmart don't accept them the cashier will buy them off you

Well they sell diapers in the box. Take the diapers out the box put something else inside and re-tape the box back up... The people behind the counter never reopen packages - - was totally broke and this devious idea popped in my head but I could never actually do it - - OR COULD I???

You only get .47? I've been getting .60 per fish. They're ripping you off.
