I don't remember the first. The last CD I physically bought was "Life in Surveillance" by So They Say, but I did buy "Tomorrow- EP" by The Material on iTunes more recently.

First = John Cougar Mellencamp's "scarecrow" back in 1985 when there was a small little rack full of CD's because most music was still being released on vinyl.
Last = today I bought Chantals Kreviazuk's "ghost stories" and A Fine Frenzy's "one cell in the sea". Love them both.

1st cd...tough to remember. I got em back in the 80s when they were JUST starting to pick up speed over tapes & records.
Well, a buddy from work sold me a bunch of used Zepp & Beatles cds. But From The Store, it mighta been a Rush cd. Maybe Moving Pictures. (anyone remember when cds used to come out in those long cardboard packages??! I saved a few!)
