mediums and psyhics are they real or not?

ok so many people believ in them and the ones that help the police but if they are real then why are all the high profile cases not solved . doesnt this just prove its all fake

If someone can name one paranormal who predicted 9/11, I would believe, and follow then til I died. If you cant see the most horrendous event in 60 years coming, how can you see where a dead body is buried, or whether Britney will get her kids back?

Mediumship is based upon psychic sensitivities and opening the psychic side to accept a more spirit experience. The reason it may not work is...there will always be criminals and isn't there a great deal of judgment in worrying about them being caught? As a working medium, I am not fake. I can and do help many people. This proves nothing to anyone, not do I live my life to prove it to anyone.

I personally believe, some people have premonitions of past and future events, but I don't believe they can will it to happen. Everyone has premonitions, it doesn't mean you are psychic. I watched a documentary once on a famous psychic and he revealed many tricks to his trade. Psychics ask questions and out of a process of elimination they make an educated guess concerning a particular issue, at least this is what the psychic on the program claimed. Psychics are like illusionists. It is based upon smoke and mirrors, and the ones who have their own programs, place people in the audience to call upon just as magicians use assistants, and they often do background checks on specific audience members so they can awe them with knowledge the psychic couldn't possibly know. That is why when they are placed in a confined environment under someone elses terms of service they tend to come up blank. Use reason, if someone were psychic, why would they bother charging others to predict past or future, when they could just as easily predict next weeks winning lottery numbers. Psychics are nothing but con artists that make their living conning people who are in grief or pain and are filled with a sense of hopelessness out of their hard earned money. They are leeches to society. ;-)

Police do NOT use "psychics" to solve cases, there would be a backlash from irate, sensible taxpayers if they did, and for good reason. They are phoney. They are purely entertainers, nothing more.

No one was ever prosecuted on the evidence of a so-called psychic, and if ever they were, the public would lose confidence in the courts and the police. Think logically please.

No, it does not prove it is all fake. Can a painter paint a million canvases without ggrowing tired and actually living their own lives? Do you have any idea the emotional strain and time and energy it would take to work on every case for FREE??

Yes police DO use psychics, however they are legally requested to tell the public that they are not using psychics-b/c a psychics word will not hold up in court, and it will throw their whole case out the window. They have to be careful when and where they use psychics.
They DO use psychics, but it cannot be well documented or discussed. For example Alisson Dubois ( the real person, not the TV show/ but yes the shows based on her )-Works for The D.A and gives her intuition about where to find ppl-they do NOT tell the judge that's how they found out the info!! they tell them it was from an anonymous tip- the phone lines. Or else it wont hold up.
Sometimes the relatives of a missing person will use a psychic and the police will cooperate.

Do they get things wrong sometimes? sure! why not? Does a painter have a bad day and do some crappy work? sure they do!


I am a real medium-altho I don't volunteer my time to the police-I'm more of a one on one gal who likes to make sure ppl are happy, healthy, and stable.

Ppl shouldn't put down what they don't understand

TO MIKE: I know many people, including myself who saw images and had dreams of the plane crashing-but seriously what did you expect us to do? One call and we'd be teh ones blamed for a conspiracy. Sometimes spychics do not "se" what they cannot change-or they ask God to take away the visions of thing sthey can do nothing about.
Nostradomus (forgive my spelling) predicted clearly WW2-did anyone jump on this to stop it??? no sir they did NOT...USA didn't even want to get involved at first. it's so very easy to stereotype ppl and abilities into some lame box that you THINK they should follow-or make up your own rules on what they should be doing..but in the long run tey are people who have no divinity to change teh world- they can only do what they can- they are human not divine. You have a right not to believe in psychics..but you can't expect them to be able to stop terrorists or to have anyone believe them if they claimed it- or not convict them of it if they did!- Plus, many psychics are in the closet still- they fear ppl mocking them. I don't blame them.

I also want to say a shout out to those that stereotype psychics as "it's a gift it SHOULD BE FREE" that's really not a fair assumption. We ALL have gifts from God and if YOU and everyone else can make a job and a career from what your great at doing then why can't psychics?
Life is about balancing not about extremes.
If you have 100 ppl at your door-do u turn them away so u can flip burgers or whatever job it is- to put a roof over your head, or do you dedicate your time to the 100 ppl and ask for a small and reasonable fee?
I don't know about yall, but I live in a world that needs bills paid. As long as the psychic isn't a con, it's their right to ask for money in return for their hard work, time and energy.
But again, balance is key!- Freebies aren't unheard of!-I for one give about 100 readings a year online for free, and i give my readings to those in poverty for free-but those that can afford it, pay. Money isn't this evil thing ppl think it is- GREED is evil.... not money..it just helps to feed the kids.


People have a misconception b.c cons use it to gain money- so then money must be evil.. well, that's not true. Loving, genuin, mediums can earn their living too with it-b.c it's real.

I don't get why ppl paint mediums into a box-it's no better than stereotyped racism-really, when u think about it.

I don't believe they are real - until proven otherwise, It makes some people happy so fair play to them, I don't agree with rip off merchants using people who have lost someone and as for crime solving I think your right!
But I do like watching the programmes on the subject - it's interesting if anything.

I believe that there are truly people out there with special gifts. The ones that don't charge, and only want to use it to help others are truly gifted. There are those out there that only want your money and they are just good at reading people.

I went to this old lady once and everything that she told be has happened. She did not charge and was very religious. Its a shame she is gone now.

I do believe there are true psychics (mediums, whatever your preferred title) however I do not believe there are many of them that would announce it to the world. To put yourself out there would be very draining and if you aren't getting crystal clear info, you would be dubbed a fake.
