I do understand a bit what you are saying, I used to live in Duren, Germany. I personally am not a German citizen, only lived there a while. When we moved to the states I was called a Nazi many times. I took great offence to it and still do. I don't understand why people judge others on based on things that happened in the past, long before we were born. It's sad, but you should just look past what one or two ignorant people call you. Yes I say ignorant because I like to think maybe they just don't know any better...People often forget that the people being persecuted by the Nazi's were also Germans.

I was stationed in Nurenberg and Furth Germany as a young GI and I never met a nicer bunch of people. My Dad fought in WWII and he actually said that the German people treated him better after Berlin fell than the French people did when he was fighting across France. Go figure!

I have backpacked through Europe over 30 years ago. My favorite country was and still is Germany. I met a German guy there and we have remained friends since. He is a lawyer in Berlin.

I do not think you are Nazis. Germany was just trying to build back their country. And a few bad choices were made.
Besides that was a long time ago.

Ya know the kids or who ever make fun of you probably did not pay attention in school!

greetings from my house.

Well I always think of a nice time I had years ago. I had a nice evening with a lot of German army cadets. I was on an exchange visit in France. They all seemed like nice guys.

I do think of the wars, but I try not to let them cloud my judgement.

Greetings from the Scottish Borders.

Hallo und guten tag vom United States.

Ich bin Americaner und...

...Ok sorry. Mein deutsch is nicht so gut.

I lived in Germany when I was in the Army. I was stationed in Bad Aibling which is in Bavaria (Bayern) near Muenchen.

I loved being in Germany and had many German friends. I almost married a German girl but we broke up.

I miss Germany a lot. Great food and good people.
