On the contrary Kat, it is liberals that try to make the PC rules and assign victim status. Liberals if ANYONE needs to be connected to their leaders to be told exactly what to think.

Sahara>Complaints are best to be listened to if there are good ideas behind them. Who has all the good ideas when it comes to things like patriotism, taxes, and warfare? NPR? Are you kidding me! I dont think youre listening to the occasional sound byte qualifies you to know what conservative talk radio is all about because you mentioned no objection based on substance, just on delivery. And if you want to judge delivery, NPR is BORING!!!

So liberals dont tell others what to think and conservatives do. Ohhh K. You may want to tell AL Gore that because apparently he didnt get that message. Liberals have failed in talk radio and it hasnt been for lack of effort.

Most people that tune into the radio are WORKING, pay taxes (too much) and are the kind of people that dont want to see babies terminated in the womb, or have their paychecks given to big govt in the name of giving to the poor, we dont want illegals getting benefits, and so on and so forth. THAT is the reason conservative talk radio flourishes. Its because conservatism appeals to and is common sense to the common man.

Two reasons:

1. If people want liberal media, they'll just watch the network news, read any number of daily newspapers, or watch the tv station owned by the taxpapers, known as PBS.

2. It's a free market, and people choose what they want to listen to the most. If liberal talk radio offered something the public was really interested in hearing, then it would thrive. They don't, and it doesn't.

Liberals are literally not in touch in dropping time listening to radio talk shows . they prefer to hearken to song because they are smart sufficient to understand that talk radio is basically leisure for fools . they do no longer even favor to hearken to liberals who talk the reality . what's received from talk radio ? no longer something is what . you may have each and each and every of the talk you want yet public protests and rallies are a lot extra helpful . at the same time as changed into the most suitable time you talked about a conservative march or rally . Prohibition possibly . Anti abortion demonstrations . See liberals already recognize those products are a waste of time and help the ACLU and different businesses that make a change . eco-friendly peace ,PETA and different liberal communities are huge advertisers on radio . LOL

Most liberals are pretty well informed and do not need radio to tell them what to think, I read a lot and I do not choose to be spoon fed my info. conservative talk radio feed the conservative mind set, leaving out history, context and other arguments that may be equally valid, to fill their time slot, liberals would want to hear the history, and other arguments as well as context, and that would never fit a time slot nor does it play well to sponsors.

A Radio Talk Show is too limited a forum for the many issues that Liberals are interested in these days. It would be hard to maintain a focus, or a flow, to the program, because so many ideas, and innovations are interconnected, and would receive calls from too many people with differing views on each subject.

If we were all "DittoHeads", we would be much easier to control and influence, and that wouldn't make us much different than the narrow-minded folks we abhor.
Hope this answers your question!

Because liberals want the news and to hear interesting interviews with world leaders, not listen to some ignoramus and his rants and opinions about how everything in America is bad but him.

That's a good question. It may have to do with that it seems like more conservatives listen to the radio then do liberals.

I like public radio myself. NPR. That seems liberal. I like there aren't so many commercials. I also find it more informative.

I cannot stand conservative talk show hosts as they complain and they don't do it well. They seem so hateful and discontent.

The radio talk show I listen to when I go out to lunch is hosted by 2 lefters. (one is far left and the other is probably more middle or moderate). I find it more uplifting to listen to them than to either of the 2 other conservative talk show hosts who sound to me like I described above. I hate hearing their stupid sound bytes. I always find something wrong with their assertion. It's too simplistic.

The same could be said about conservatives being negative, etc.

But it's a good point as we all could use a dose of some humor and fun now and then. It won't do us any good if we don't take care of ourselves.

because most liberals have better things to do than listen to people tell us how to think.
Heck, I don't even listen to the radio anymore, just click the button on the remote and change the CD when I want to listen to different music. If I get bored of all that music, i get into the trunk, and switch CDs or plug in the IPOD. That simple.
Ever heard of an MP3 player?

I got a jukebox pretty much in the trunk of my car, So it will be forever and a day before I settle down to listen to someone yap on the radio.

It really says something about a person's character when they can sit and listen to someone yap on the radio about politics, and then get on here and parrot someone else's view.

Talk radio is a thinking persons medium...ideal for logical and commonsense Americans. Liberals also tend to be very negative and lack a sense of humor. That's the short answer.

I've listened to Randy Rhodes quite a lot while I get my 3 miles in every afternoon. I honestly think somedays she just makes stuff up out of the blue.

Failed? It hasn't failed. I listen almost every day. I believe conservative talk radio gets a lot of interest from the masses because it puts complicated things in simple terms e.g. feminazis instead of women, all liberals are commies, etc. and these hateful diatribles are easier for conservatives to swallow and repeat, instead of thinking in real terms.
