Is it possible that 10 or 11 DPO is too early for a positive beta test? My level was under 5 but since HCG only doubles every 2-3 days could it still be possible? My temps are still up and I am due for AF on Friday. Please only answer if you have some knowledge of beta levels. There are a lot of forums with women that this has happened to. So once again please only answer if you have knowledge of beta levels and their doubling times.

it is definitely possible as the egg may not even have implanted yet... sometimes not until 12 dpo.

It might not show up, I know it is really uncommon but it happened with me. I wasn't sure if I was Oing so my dr had me come in at the end of the month and he did a blood test that tested for ovulation AND pregnancy and both came back neg. He told me that sometimes women have an off cycle like that and so the after another 3 wks I still didn't get my period I tested again and got a + right away. My dr told me that we must have gotten pregnant the week of the bloodtest. That being said I think bloodtests are like 98% accurate. Good luck I hope you get that double line soon!

I would wait until you are closer to your due date. Dependind on when you actually had sex, it can take longer for the egg to implant in the uterus. Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours for it to even be fertilized.

I always say wait until it's time for AF to actually be there, THEN if she is late I would test.

nope, not pregnant. Blood test is as accurate as you gonna get. If your looking to get pregnant and have a normal cycle try for 14Th day of the month and so on. Is usually when a woman with a normal cycle will ovulate

If you've taken a blood test and it is coming back negative then chances are you're not pregnant. Sorry. :(
