but when i installed it did work but the images come broken and it keeps on pausing.

Your Geforce 6500 is a pretty slow budget card. Get a better card like a 7600GT, ATI HD 2600XT or 8600GT.
OR try reducing display resolution, lowering game quality settings and using 16bit color quality instead of 32bit.

Hi. You probably have programs running in the background. Use 'Task Manager' to see and shut down what you can.
