I use what the Government of China uses. I am sure you know that they are quite "secret", with just about everything.

Have been using Twister Trojan AntiVirus, http://www.filseclab.com

Used of over ten years and never had one virus, as their background scanner kills viruses in real time. Plus you have a defense system that will catch any downloaded program that does not have valid Lic., or the name of the publisher. This software is uploaded in real time and check for viruses. If have the option to allow or kill the program in real time.

To many other feathers to describe.

Will tell you that you pay a one time fee of $29.99 for life that includes all updates daily and any new versions for life. (This you can not beat). Plus excellent support.

You can take their software for a test drive for thirty days. You will get a Lic., to test drive for thirty days.

Best is a rather subjective area. Cheapest is free. I use AVG free edition and PC Tools Antivirus together along with Windows Defender for antivirus software, and use Ad-Aware, Xoftspy, and Spybot Search & Destroy for antispyware which are also free. I have had no software conflicts or system hangs of any kind and my machine is bug free.
