Oh heck yeah!!
I'm such an attention whore that I give people my email and work address all the time...I really don't even worry about giving out my home address because I live in a state where it's legal to shoot someone you don't know if they are in your house and they startle you....
They recently changed the law to "anyone on your property" that you don't know...I guess because they had to many people shooting postal workers and then dragging them into the house to make it look like they were actually IN their houses....yeah murde......eeer "self defense" is a sport here.
Just bear in mind that if they catch you breaking the rules of said self-defense...they'll kill you back.
That's why I have no friends and go nowhere...I'm also beginning to understand why there is NO delivery of ANYTHING to private residences here...
Fed-ex just delivers sh*t in a big pile outside the police station and every noon hour folks just mosey up and collect the packages....which explains the "please allow 8 to 46 weeks for delivery" in this region of the country...
How did I go from giving out addy's to Fed-Ex employees wearing full combat armor to run their routes??
Some times I worry me.

I have to only 2 people, but they are people who became really good friends of mine and we'd known each other for a couple years (it's been 4 now), and it actually started out with exchanging telephone numbers 1st and talking on the phone. we shared lots of stuff together and sent gifts and cards to each other and for our significant others and children (well, I dont have kids but I've sent them gifts for theirs). All 3 of us became good friends and we all live in different states. One of them I'd been through a wedding, and 2 babies with (though I didn't get to go to the wedding because of other commitments) but I did send gifts from her registry and my other friend went to the wedding.
I don't mind giving my email addy out, home addy is a different story. I'd have to know a whole hell of a lot about you BEFORE any telephone #s or address were exchanged. I'm extremely careful but no matter how much you know a person online, you can't know them completely.....no different from real life. You can meet someone in person, get to know them, know them for 20 years, even marry them and they'll still run off and take your money!! LOL

Most people won't give out any information except for their email address.... but, then again, the awareness of the "crazy people" out there is huge and there is a small risk for it now. But, still the risk is huge being that children get kidnapped all the time.

The only reason why I wouldn't give my e-mail to anyone is because I'm not interested in a relationship. I enjoy asking a question now and then and answering questions that hopefully might help someone else solve a problem. I don't see it as a "danger'.

I would never give my home address out to anyone i didn't know especially on here.You are so right, you never know who is on the other side..pictures don't mean crap ,,now web cams do..if you can see who you are actually talking too and get to know them awhile maybe.

Never again...I have Buk, Johnny Trash, Yidiot, and Joey as squatters in my house. I do not want anymore. You should see what these guys have done to my place. Do you know how hard dead midget is to get out of your oven?
