Hip-hip, JORGE! I love this guy. He's a bona fide Yankee, just like Jeter. Not only does he submit himself to the physical and mental demands of catching year after year, but this year he was also ridiculously hot at the plate. He had such a good season, and he totally deserved it. I couldn't be happier for him, and I'm so glad he's coming back!

I would of given Jorge Posada a 3 year deal, not four. As a Yankee fan. that is to many years. I think the money is ok. Just the 4 years bother me.

what's too lots? thinking the promise that Hughes confirmed on the tip of final twelve months and the expertise that he has there develop into some expectancies that he ought to do somewhat nicely with the run help that he might get. no person envisioned him to be 0-4 with an era of 9.00 that's for particular. ( He develop into over hyped and due to this he stands out the main.) there develop into no expectancies nor rigidity located on Kennedy. He had a coarse start up and develop into despatched backtrack to triple A the place he's pitching nicely and gaining his self assurance back. ( He develop into by no capacity overrated.) The develop into somewhat intense expectancies located on Joba which he has greater effective than lived as much as. Joba isn't untouchable yet is rather between the precise 3 setup adult men in baseball. that may not undesirable for a guy in his 2d twelve months. they're 3 youthful pitchers that ought to learn and improve.

I am very happy. For two main reasons. The first, I like Jorge. The 2nd, is the catcher market is thin and no one in the minors near ready to even learn to take his place.

I'm very happy with this. Not only is he the BEST catcher in baseball, but or young pitching staff needs a veteran that knows the league.
Hands down, the best choice was Posada.

At his age, in his position, I would have only signed him for 2, but I'm glad he signed. I disagree with everyone else who say the Yanks need to sign Mo. He stinks in the beginning of the season, and he stinks at the end. The Yankees need a closer from April to October.

Jorge is good, but you guys need some PITCHING!!---go get some, then you'll regain some Yankee glory. Give Damon & Giambi for Jon Garland & Joe Crede-Sox might do it.

of course every yankee fan's happy, who wouldn't be?? posada is such an important yankee. he's a great defensive catcher, and a great clutch hitter. he had a great year and i'm sure he has many more to come. i think thay Jorge Posada will retire as a New York Yankee.

Of course I'm happy. Great season for him amazing batting avg and doubles this season. Can't believe Mariano isn't signed yet though. If only we had pitching to go with the catcher.
