i mean the tables have finally turned, the men are getting custody these days and the woman are paying child support and getting mad about it, why is that

It's been a long time coming but the courts are finally realizing that just because you're a woman doesn't mean you are the better parent to your child or children. I know several Dad's who are raising their kids and doing a qreat job and the children are happier than they were before. If the Mothers would just accept it and quit bad mouthing everyone in the childs life everytime they get to visit, the kids wouldn't mind seeing their Mom nearly as bad.

Because it's a threat to them. When a woman has a child and it's one experiance that men will never understand. It's a bonding with the child. When a father takes from the mother it is crucial. I don't think it has anything to do with Child Support. It has to do with the child and the mother feels she is losing her baby.

Men just don't understand anything about how the woman feels.

Now if the sitation is poor with the mother then that's a whole different story. If she is abusive and the father is not then of course it's better if the child is better off with the father. But if the Father is taking aways from the mother because he is angry with her and just because then that is flat out wrong.

Because they carried the child for 9 months, went through excruciating pain, bled, gained weight, and now they can't even have custody of their child.
Not saying that all mothers deserve this custody... because some mothers are horrible and neglecting parents but i'm just guessing that's why a woman would be upset if she didn't have custody of her child.

The mom has a connection with the child a man could never had. They went through nine months of labor, they gave birth which im sure is EXCRUCIATING. Also in most cases mothers tend to be more sensitive and easy to talk to. However you may have been the better candidate and more able to take care of your child. If this is the case than i applaud you.

If it's in the child's best interest to be with dad, then I don't see a problem with it. I think the thing that most people get caught up in is that, historically, it's been the mother who is the 'nurturer.' That isn't always the case anymore, though.

bc the bond between child and mother is so precious....it's also hard for the father tho and i understand how it seems to guys. as a mom, i knoow that it would kill me, her dad doesn't seem to have aproblem not seeing her let alone custody. i guess a counter question would be, how can dad's act like their child never existed???
