I would vote for the best person for the job, regardless of party. If that's a third party candidate I will vote for them like I did for Ross Perot. I'm not going to waste my vote on someone I don't think will be good for our country.

In that instance, I would probably vote for the Republican that I didn't like.
Of course it would really depend on who the third party candidate was. I might vote for a Libertarian but I wouldn't vote for a Green Party or a Communist. After all if they're on the ballot there's a chance (however small) that they might actually win. After all, before Lincoln was elected, the Republicans were a third party.

I've struggled with the issue of "lesser of two evils."
I'm giving my money now to the candidate who matches my heart, even though I doubt he'll ever get past the primaries. In the general election, I will vote for whoever best matches my own values. That will not be Mike Huckabee. I was in Arkansas while he was Governor, and no, thanks. He's another social conservative who will sell the nation down the pike while he pushes some bizarre social agenda that bounces between over-reaction and apathy without ever finding a balance.
I don't want Bush Light.

That's the problem with Hillary. She's changed her position on so many things that it's hard to determine where she stands. Can I trust her? The answer is no. In your scenario I'd vote for the Republican. Just because I don't like someone does not mean that I cannot agree with him/her. I can't stand McCain. However I do like many of his views on issues. Fiscal responsibility, strong defense, opposed to universal health care. So, no there is no circumstance in which I would ever vote for Hillary Cliton.

In that case, may as well vote for the lesser of the evils, and vote GOP. Period.
Unless the 3rd party was the Constitution Party's candidate.

I wouldn't vote for her if she was the lesser evil. The two party system is terrible. I'll probably vote for that third party candidate or Stephen Colbert if they all suck as well.
