ignore the first answer, 300c's are rwd
funny answer first, did you check for crushed pedestrians under there?
real answer, have a look under there; anything look not normal or fallen off?
have you hit anything recently, even a big pothole?
does it do it all the time or only at certain intersections or on specific road surfaces?
if it really worries you, take the car to a suspesion place and ask them

its caused by chrysleritis, a division of americanitis. its not as bad as forditis, but its less severe than GMitis. the cure would be to buy a honda or toyota, and you wont have that problem for at least another 6 or 7 years.
listen to the people talking about the cv joints. even if its rear wheel, it still has bearings and ball joints and its probably one of those. if not, it could be the dust shield around the brakes is bent and rubbing on the rotor, or something else thats just slightly bent and is dragging against the rotor/disc when the car turns. honestly, thats the kind of problem you should be expecting from a car thats got 80 000+ on it, and a 2005 sounds pretty new to be giving you that kind of grief.
if it s a bearing, ball joint, or cv joint, itll prolly cost you over 2-300 at least. if its just something bent itll be an easy fix.

Boy there are some bright ones on here. like the other guy said, the 300m is a RWD vehicle, there are no front CV joints but you never said where the noise was coming from? Front? Back? Right Side? Left Side? Under the car?
My guess is one of the chicken nuggets in your brain (which we would refer to as you Happy Meal) came loose so when you make a left hand turn it's rubbing against you ear drum....... Which you hear a noise and assuming it's coming from your car.
Cancel the appointment with Mechanic and so see a Brain Surgeon.

It's probably a problem relating to ur tires. Have ur ball joint checked. Also if ur under 30,000 miles the factory warranty is still in tact. If that's the case, any chrysler dealer will check it and repair the problem for free. To question 1....most chrysler 300s are rear wheel drive. Trust me I own one.

Many causes can give you noises, it is hard to tell what is causing the noise, Cv shaft, tire rubbing on the inner tire well, strut tower could be loose or wheel alignment may be out. If the noise continues even in dry driving conditions. Get to a repair facility asap.

It's more than likely a problem with your constant velocity joint. Issues with those are commonly heard during a turn. I had a similar issue before with a previous car.
But I'd pay a dealership the 60 bucks or so to have them check it out before it turns into something worse.
cheers,
Nick

If it's coming from the front it's probably a CV joint, which is what couples the half shaft to the wheel on a front wheel drive vehicle.
