A couple of months ago I was backed into by a Hummer. And instead of exchanging insurance info with me, the kid took off. Now the police found him and I have the report and it says "No Citation Was Issued" Does that mean he didnt get into any trouble for hitting me and then running? If so is there somthing I could do about that? The kid was 16....what is that teaching him??????? It just doesnt seem fair.....

It would depend alot on what occurred the day of the accident. Did you make a police report? Did you tell them you wanted to prosecute? The police cannot issue a citation without a citizen's arrest form as they did not witness the incident.
You should contact the agency that found the driver. Tell them you wish to have the kid prosecuted and that you will take time off of work and come to court as needed. Then tell them you want to the case sent to the District Attorney's office for prosecution. Don't sit back, push, nicely, but push.

call the police dept and find out what they did. If you had damage you can have you insurance company go after him and try and get it or you can take him to small claims court.

It doesn't seem right that he was let off without a citation unless they gave him a court date because I believe in some areas it is atleast a misdemeanor to leave the scene of an accident.

It means you have to sue him in court to get satisfaction!
