I don't keep up with the news so i dont really know whats going on on the time with politcal stuff. but can you give me a LOGICAL answer.
"Because he's a dumb ignorant southern moron that cant talk" is not a logical answer. If thats the best you can come up with YOUR THE IGNORANT MORON who needs a life.

I know there the whole war thing..blah blah blah. But other presidents have been in that situation and there werent called "the worst president in the history" Why cant everyone get over it. He'll be president till 2008 or w/e it is. Deal with it.

Why is everyone so against him. Really. What did he do.

Well, basically, he can't wave a wand and make everything perfect. If he could, everyone would love him, but the world doesn't work like that. There's some give and take and he makes the calls, whoever loses out will complain to no end. That goes for any leader, not just Bush.

Actually, in the US, nearly every president that has started a war, or continued a war became incredibly unpopular. American citizens in general do not like war, and do not like knowing that their country is in a war (ironic, because of all countries on the planet the citizens here feel the impact the least). This contributes a lot to him not being liked.

His other problem is his stubbornness and the fact that he doesn't connect with mainstream America. He did fine in Texas; he's a Texan, he speaks their language, follows their mannerisms and understands them. People from New York don't understand people like Bush, and when he does things they don't like they won't like him. The fact that he refuses to bend or compromise only makes it harder for him to get a higher approval rating.

This appears like a type of "questions" the place you're searching for for people who accept as true with you, no longer searching for recommendations. What I even have against Bush is that each and every single element in this u . s . a . is worse than the way Clinton left it. it ought to no longer have been a foul concept in any respect to assist the Iraqis. Is that why we went? Is that why Bush stated we went? Why no longer help the people in North Korea? Cuba? China? one hundred different countries the place they have 0 human rights? Is it a three letter word initiating with O by using any probability? Billions of dollars, specific it is BILLIONS with a 'B' meant for Iraq's reconstruction have only disappeared. i know, Bush comfortably does not stay on those issues. "Fools who did no longer know to stay out of a battlezone"....How deep of you. yet then you definitely weren't in Iraq eating at a eating place the place we concept Hussain only "could" be, so we Bombed it. certainly, history could have the final word. yet only because of the fact each and every person is criticized does no longer advise that criticism is often unjustified........

'Everyone' is really only 65-67% who don't like him. A third of us think he's doing good job. When he was elected, he was at only about 55% approval, so only half the people liked him to begin with. Of course, most presidents have done much better than that. Recall he barely won in 2000. Among those who don't like him are members of his own party, just for the record. So to the person who dogged the dems, the repubilicans do the same thing. It's politics.

People rallied around him at 9/11- you might even say that was the best thing that happened to him. But then things went down from there. The failure that is the Iraq war (cost= in the trillions today) angers people. That it has little to do with 9/11 angers people. No child left behind angers people- schools are considered failing due to arbitrary guidelines, and the system to shore them up is flawed. Personally, I don't agree with the faith-based initiatives- that was just a way to reduce funding in the social services to pump up the military. In short, he has initiatives that have failed and thus people want to distance themselves from him. And let's not forget the entire gas situation! And the closer we get to election time, the more you will see him get dogged in the press by the candidates. Thus, expect his rating to continue to drop.

p.s. what do you mean people don't like him because he's Christian- what presidents have we had that haven't been Christian? Did I miss a Muslim stuck in there somewhere??? Seeing has more than 35% of Americans designate themselves as Christian, I don't think that's the reason why his rating is low. And unemployment is low because people have to work 2-3 jobs just to get by- the dollar isn't holding up very well, in case you hadn't noticed. Finally, you can still respect a president and not approve of their choices. If given the opportunity, I would accord him all the rites and priviledges he deserves. But I still don't have to agree with his choices. That's the joy of being an American!

specifically--here are some of the things Bush has done:
>invaded a country (Iraq) that did not attack us, had no links to the people who did, and was not a threat.
>gotten 4000brave Americans killed in the above war
>running up the highest deficits in history--NOT COUNTING the $2 TRILLION blown on a pointless war
>Violated the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 14th ammendments to the Constitution (among other provisions) by the use of warrentless surveillance (including on LAW-ABIDING Americans), denial of due process, torture, delnial of habeaus corpus,,, denial of right to legal representation or trial, etc.

Want me to go on--those are jsut a few of the more well-known things Bush has done.

Bush is basically a good guy doing what he thinks is right but it hasn't turned out very well in several cases. In many cases this is because he has been constantly attacked since the day he assumed office. The democrats were so bitter about being defeated in 2000 that they were determined to bring down his presidency. And since the vast majority of journalists are democrats, they've had a lot of ability to turn public opinion against him. He has not handled this constant barrage of criticism very well at times. It has made him defensive stubborn and inflexible. He has also had to lead this country through one of the hardest times in its history. Every move he makes is criticized, so he digs in and defends it refexively. The problem is that on a few occaisions he should have listened to the critics. I don't think he's done a terrible job, but I don't think he's done a great job either. The hatred came long before he did anything to earn it.

(1) He stole the Presidency in 2000, by using the Supreme Court Judges that his Daddy installed.
(2) He used our nation's fear of another terrorist attack to get re-elected.
(3) Instead of staying on the trail of Bin Laden, or calling the Saudis on their support of Terrorism, he trumped up some Weapons-of-mass-destruction as an excuse to attack Iraq, in order to extract revenge on Saddam Hussein, for putting a "hit" out on G.H.W Bush, (Daddy Bush), after the first Gulf War.
(4) He has alienated all of our European, and other allies, and is totally inept in the conduct of foreign policy, and especially this war.
(5) He is a horrible communicator, and an embarrassment to his predecessors, and to our country.
(6) As suggested above, you should read Big Al's book, and everything else you can find on this subject.

He's the one who defined a policy of no compromise, and many of his policies turned out to be crap. Notably, Iraq is a mess, but then so is doubling the national debt with the aid of a complaint Congress of his own party, etc.

You absolutely epitomize all Bush supporters. By your own words, you "don't keep up with the news so I don't REALLY know what's going on ... with political stuff." You condense the worst foreign policy blunder in the history of the United States (you'd know this if you followed the political news) into "...the whole war thing...blah blah blah."

Thank you for being a prime example of how this country got into this mess to begin with. Go bury your head back in the sand and let us know how Brittney and OJ are doing.

Have you been shacked up with Osama, in a cave near Tora Bora? Well if so don't worry, Bush can't find you, he can't even see over the mountain of debt, collapsing dollar, never ending war, high oil prices, and corruption that goes on everyday in his administration.

well, personaly i think he isnt a good president because of the choices he makes for us.

and he hasnt done alot of good stuff to help people out, on the contrary, hes been making thing a little bit worse

e.g.
stopped the stem cell reasearch just to have more money for the war that is pointless, and raising taxes for it too. he should be trying to help the people that actually live here and that are asking for help instead of butting in in something that he doesnt have anything to do with...

but hey everyone has their own opinion (:
