I'm not always honest and know enough about the world to know anyone who says they are are the worst liars around. They probably lie that well they believe it themselves

Honest. Most people that have many friends lie to achieve friends. If you're honest, people have a tendency to despise you for it. I have very few friends because I tell it like it is. Not their truth, not my truth, the truth. And for that, my only real friends are my wife and children.
Besides, most people that lie to friends, usually end up lying in relationships causing an abrupt end to them.

I lie very rarely but if I do its when people invade my privacy or that information is worth more than my relationship with them is.
It's also a tool used in warfare. I will deceive my enemies to defeat them. That's why I find lying so offensive by so called "friends" to me its an act of war.

Honest except when it would unnecessarily hurt someones feelings. ("That deep diagonal scar from going through the windshield really brings out your pretty face, Cindy!" would not be something I would say, though.)

Getting my way? Nah, too old for that. I let everyone else have their way so I can smirk along through life.

There are bugs, snakes and alligators to catch and they don't comprehend lies.

Little bit of both. I lie occasionally to get my way but not all the time.

Honesty is one issue...

A person who's bent on getting "their way" is yet another.

Having both these distinct issues coalesce into a singular problem is certainly worth avoiding...

Now how about someone who avoids issues? Is that dishonesty (pretending something didn't happen) or are they trying to get their way?

I always lie through my teeth to get my way. In fact, to say that I'm always dishonest is, itself, a false statement.

I'm a walking facade. ;-)

No lies - always the truth.
Lies catch up with you sooner or later, and they are not worth it.
