You can never go wrong with a restaurant gift certificate. They are nothing personal but they show you care. To go with it you should buy movie certificates. They sell them at AMC. I think those would be an appropriate gift for this occasion. She did you a really big favor, so they gift certificate should be about $50 for the food and two movie passes. Attached should be a thank you card, showing it’s just a thank you and not a more personal thing.
If either of those don’t sound good, maybe a gift card to the mall or a money gift. I wouldn’t buy chocolate or a bear or anything like that. That would be awkward, I hope you find the perfect gift and she enjoys it. Good luck

The gift might be travel related since her generosity came from giving you a ride. How about a First Aid Kit which every car, boat, home or office should have because you never know when an accident might happen. Email me if your interested as I work with a group that has a top notch one I can get you at a gift price.

Sending flowers to her sorority would be a terrible idea. If she could get them somewhere else that would be a very nice expression of your gratitude for the favor she did for you. The safest thing to do, but does not have the impact is to send her a thank you card.

A nice gift card to a store, or spa. Enclosed with a simple thank you card. That's always a good gift for anyone: friends, family, for any occasion too. And it's small and discrete so you can easily slip it to her unknown to the world.

A thank you card with a gift certificate to a favorite restaurant. Make sure the certificate is enough to pay for 2 meals, maybe she'll invite you. But if she doesn't, don't be angry, this is a gift and hers to do with as she pleases. Maybe she'll take her mom there.
Good luck.
Peace.

Gift card to macy's, dillard's nordstrom or saks. Not as personal as Victorias secret or a smell-good store, but she can find the best of just about anything she's into in those places

Give her a gift card to a local salon for whatever. We girls love the salon for hair and nails, etc. Give it to her with a nicely written "Thank You' Card. You are sweet to give her something. Good Luck.
