This is bullsh*t-and you should be ashamed of yourselves for following a belief that you don't execute.

How is a gay person shoving it down your throat because they get up on Sunday and go to church-do they sit beside you and kiss or something?I mean seriously-get real.

Wow, this question totally doesn't apply to me.... but at the same time I think I'll answer it lol, well, I was never baptized or anything but I do believe that when you break it down to the nitty gritty, whether you like it or not, we're all f'in related and as the days go by I'm getting more and more certain that when you go in the dictionary and look under the word hypocrite... it should say "see religion". By the way, and off the topic, Hey Baby! How are you? : )

I am baptist. You have to remember that a lot of churches labeled 'baptist' and one 'catholic' church I know are not under these 'conventions'. You need to find a church that is not associated with a big money gimmick. I am baptist and I don't think God wants us to turn anyone away from church. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. What's the difference between a homosexual attending a church and a 'co-habitating' heterosexual couple attending church? God said "sin is a sin" and we're not perfect creatures. We ALL sin. We sin daily. It's human instinct and natural. However..judging is as big of a sin as any other. God is the only one who can judge. Good luck and God bless you. God welcome's everyone into his home....obviously some Christian's aren't guided by God anymore.

Those are Baptists for you. They (as a general rule) are awful people. This is why I am an Episcopalian now that I'm old enough to know a little better. (Raised Baptist and the thought of stepping foot in a Baptist church gives me chills)

When one thinks of Jesus Christ the man, one can not equate his personality and teachings with most of his followers which is a shame. Christ taught that we should love and embrace one another no matter our differences. A "christian" will tell you otherwise. Besides, Jesus didn't mention homosexuality in his teachings. Those references came from Peter later on in his life, and in the Torah.

I could say so much about the baptist church, but I won't. I totally agree with you!

You can love the sinner without loving, and condoning the sin. What's next, welcoming child molesters without trying to change them, giving their approval to that to?

Everyone who joins a church is expected to change and move forward in their faith and relationship with God
So maybe the decision is right.
