I remember hearing a story that Pamala Anderson was naked in her car and nobody cared except a reverend that seen her. I guess he went to the police and all they did was make her apologize to him. So i'm guessing its not illegal to be naked in public in LA? If so, I would not bring my kids to LA. Ever.

OH MY GOD.
your kids might a see a naked person.
If they do -- they will be corrupt for life -- they will surely start doing heroin and having sex at age 9.
NO mater what you do -- do not let your kids see naked people!

Well, next time you go to LA.... leave your kids with your Catholic Priest, I'm sure THAT would be safer :-(
in any event, it's not illegal simply to be naked anywhere in the US. Nudity can be a form of expression, and is therefore protected by the First Amendment. To be a crime, you have to be naked with a prurient (ie sexual) intent.
If what Pamela Anderson was doing wasn't illegal, then the cops would have had no authority to make her apologise, would they? (Although I hasten to add I have not heard this story at all)

PS. I wouldn't take my kids to where ever your from because they would have to ask the same question three times to understand it. Genius! Woops 4 times, not to smart there are we?
Then get of off yahoo answers and go pray or something. say a prayer to bring back the panties of all the celebs while your there. Im catholic too and let me tell you, if i would have been there i would have took out my camera! and if your worried about her being naked in her car, you should see her videos then you would move to pakistan

For the record, it is illegal to be nakey IN PUBLIC, but not illegal to be nakey in your car as long as you:
A) Weren't nekkid "in public" prior to entering your vehicle (dropped the top and the pants in your car, etc.).
B) As long as you do not exit your vehicle and step foot on public grounds once you are nakey (your car is considered private property).
C) Do not call for attention, as this could be means for possible investigation by authorities, thus you may have to exit your vehicle upon request by a peace officer or security enforcement and would be subjected to being cited for public nudity if you were still disrobed.
Personally, I would care less and would just bust out my camera and sell the pics on eBay....
