Tough question, different types of love for different people. Sometimes a I care for you love can turn into lets get it on kind of love! I don't think there any real rules or guidelines other than listening to your heart :) Good luck!

love = A good book, the sun set, a dear friend, margaritas, getting my belly rubbed. Stuff like that. Something that you will miss but can live without if taken away.
in love = That special someone that fills your every thought. You start daydreaming about them like a silly schoolgirl. You can only think about them and how to please them. Someone who makes you feel sick, happy and have butterflies all at the same time. Someone who can curl your toes, someone who can make you cry hard if taken away.
At least that's what it feels like to me.
Good luck honey…I was there too, about 10 years ago. I got lucky! I found a keeper!

I think there is sexual love which can turn into love with a total commitment to each other. Either type can come first in a relationship, followed by the other.

It's hard to explain, but I'll try. Love is when you care deeply for someone, and being in love is when you have met the person that you want to spend and share the rest of your life with.

Being in love is the romantic part, love is the everyday feeling that you get as you live your lives together. They both can be wonderful with the right partner. Love to you.
