There is no need to be serious in polls and surveys. That's what the Religion And Spirituality section is for. Man, if you think it gets scary over here you should wander over there sometime.

Sometimes this is the best place to ask something serious if you are too embarrased to ask friends or family. I'm not sure what you're so upset about. Perhaps you answered a question in fun but were slammed for your fun answer. So stop answering serious questions and only answer the fun ones.
I would LOVE to get up and do some vacuuming and dusting, at least I would be able to do something useful during the day. But unfortunately I am shackled to a desk job miles from home and there is no work at present here. This IS the most useful thing I can do right now. But it sure would be nice to be able to go home and clean my house! Not everyone who sits on their butt doing nothing all day long is unemployed!

In my estimation, it is their mindset
to believe they're doing just that--
cleaning up--see, they assume
"most" people are humor-challenged
as they are.
In a sense, they're right.
What you and I and some select P&Sers
take for granted, h3ll, consider our personable
way of life, is a task to deal with for them.
Next time your banker asks, "How would you
like that?" when you're cashing a check,
say, "Quadrupled", as though you had said
"whatever's handy".
The straight tone will likely double their silent,
gape-stare for those precious moments.
Bask in them.
Do you know How Many obstacles poor
Lorne Michaels (brain of the Original SNL)
endured before actually getting such
fantastic sarcasm on the air?
Thanks for letting me vent.
>"Seriously."

Is this the jokes section where things should be funny?
I answer serious questions seriously, and the fun questions I answer in a fun way......although my type of humor seems to be mistaken for seriousness at times.

It depends on the questions. Most ppl in this section ask fun questions & it's fun to answer them. In other sections & occasionally in this one, ppl want an honest answer/opinion & if I can contribute to this I will.
The main reason I pop into P&S nearly every day is b/c it *is* fun. So many chocolate references ;-)

some people have fun by pushing that report it button just to have fun and I wish there was a way to find out who does this mean thing.

Do you mean house frau (German for woman or wife). Sometimes people want real answers that are serious, but I like to smart people off every once in a while.

Hey I just asked a question like this...I agree, go to philosophy if you want to pontificate, religion and spirituality if you want to bash every ones beliefs but your own
