Argue for it (I assume you're talking human cloning)

Do do so, I suggest -

- You point out that a cloned human would have the same human rights as a non-cloned human, so organ harvesting would be not be a motive. There's no way that clones would have anything less than human status in modern society.
- Cloning is just another method of reproduction, nothing more, nothing less.
- Even identical twins develop unique personalities. Idenntical genes does not mean identical persona. You won't get another Hitler from his clone.
- Science Fiction has accidently convinced many that clones have no souls and other bull. In fact, it is mostly fictional storylines that has caused many to fear cloning, even before cloning is even possible.

And human cloning is not likely to be all that popular anyway. Most will have children the old fashion way. There is no social difference between cloning and naturally having a baby.

You could argue in favor of cloning cells and tissues, but not in favor of cloning individual animals (especially people) to be harvested for body parts. We are getting close to being able to grow up individual tissues and perhaps even orgams to replace those lost or damaged. This is very responsible and ethical business.

Agreed !!! do not they only clone on and on and on and on. It gets rather tedious incredibly. I gave that suggestion to Cheryl B this morning as she develop into threatening to clone George the crimson hippo. Get you very own personalities!

You are truly limiting yourself to this forum to decide your opinion? Do a google on "cloning for against" and read. Read until you feel some part of you stirring. That stirring is your opinion. Go with it and decide for yourself.

Everyone will be arguing against cloning, so you would do well to argue for it. Give that teacher something to think about.
