I love Las Vegas and I want to represent it in my home. I want some things to put up on the walls as well as knick knacks to place on my bookshelves and entertainment center.
Everything I have seen online is cheesy and more for a Vegas party than decorations for my home everyday.
Do you know where I could get some sophisticated yet Vegas stuff?

most las vegas themed decor is sold inside of casinos in their gift shops or inside of specialty stores in the mall (forums, desert passage, etc). you may find some nice things at souvenir shops on the strip or in downtown on fremont. i've never really seen sophisticated vegas stuff. i think if your house is furnished in a sophisticated manner, whatever is on the shelves will look just fine.
i have a friend who has a modern themed house and he's accented his couches with a couple pillows that are casino chips. it looks pretty cool. he got them from one of the casino malls.

Ask one of the locals but I know for a fact that there at least one or two places that buy up all the old stuff from hotel renovations and then re-sell it
There used to be a place that was off of Industrial that sold all that stuff.

you can get all kinds of stuff off the internet, look up las vegas decor on google and you'll get tons of sites

i do no longer think of "state-of-the-artwork" while i think of approximately Las Vegas, I often think of "cheesy". i've got been to Las Vegas and that i enjoyed it, yet Las Vegas is defined by making use of the glitz, glitter and tackiness of the playing/entertainment industry.
