he already has halo 3 series and I don't know what other kinds of games to get for a relative's birthday as I am not that much of a video gamer.your suggestions of similar xbox360 or wii games? thanks.

call of duty 4.... i am a halo 3 fanatic...and call of duty 4 is the only game that can come close... if likes halo he will love this game..

The ones I've named are, from what i know, associated with the Wii which is coming out with the Wii-Zapper for shooter games. The wii zapper will be sub-machine gun style and have a controller, very much like those that one sees at the arcades.

Rainbow Six: Vegas - great multiplayer co-op
Call of Duty 3 or 4 - just bought 4, 3 is awesome though.
Gears of War - I personally hate it, but it won game of the year.
If all else fails, you can get him an Xbox LIVE subscription card. It extends his Xbox LIVE membership for an entire year.

yeah. resident evil is beast(awesome in normal english). if he likes COD (and he has 4, then get him World at war), but some cool games are rainbow six vegas 2, and Battlefield bad company. i've heard dead rising is good, and that is similar to Left 4 Dead (both zombie games). fallout 3 is cool, and the gears of war games are also classics.
