The mob wars played themselves out a long time ago. It is past time to move on and to move back to what made GH great, good corporate raider stories with the Q's and Jax, High Adventure with Luke and Robert and solid hospital stories with the doctors and nurses. GH use to be right on the edge of things like with the Robin and Stone AIDS story or Monica's breast cancer. Now it is the same mob stuff over and over again.

Me, too. When I started watching in '81 a lot of the show happened in the hospital. It i called General HOSPITAL after all. The mob stuff gets old after a while. It could still be a part of some of the overall stories but it doesn't have to be connected to darn near every character on the show. What happened to "love in the afternoon" is what I'd like to know.

Well a main character is kind of hard to define so that's a vague accusation. If it was going to be anyone though, I'd guess that it would be Claudia or somewhere down the road, Jason. Because nobody likes Claudia, and Steve Burton still hasn't renewed his contract. I really hope that Claudia or Sonny leaves. I don't think that Steve Burton will leave though, and I really hope that he doesn't.

I have only been watching for 8 years so I've missed the good old days with Robert and Luke and Robin and Stone. As for the hospital storylines, I think they should put more focus on them. But, I do love GH's mob drama.

I completely agree, except that the stories centered around the hospital all seem to involve tertiary characters that I have no reason to care about. Bring back the Drs. Quartermaine (and I don't mean Emily), Bobbie Spencer, Audrey Hardy, etc.

There's been hospital stuff, like Robin and Patrick's love affair and Noah's illness and recovery. And there's a whole host of new nurse and doctor characters. I'm sure all this mob junk is just for sweeps or something.

I would, that is the way it was for years and it worked. It wouldn't hurt from time to time to take a break from all the mob violence. I used to love nurse Amy Vinning, Laura's sister, she knew all the gossip. I could see her and Ephinany going at it. They should bring her back, she has family. Nik and Lucky are her nephews and Luke her bro-in-law.

I never get enough of Sonny and Jason. But I like that GH is taking the nurses and doctors from GH night shift and putting them on the regular show. I wish GH would revisit the quartermaines and their company,( Instead of killing all of the Quartermaine's off) and corporate takeovers like when Jax first came to town.
