We have a December wedding to attend. This is my brother in law's wedding. This wedding won't be to formal, it's on a weekday, in the afternoon. Since I haven't been to a wedding in quite awhile, I am out of touch with what is in style. Let me add that I have a toddler that is going with us so I need something comfortable to move in. I was thinking a nice charcoal colored pencil skirt, a crisp white shirt, some nice chunky jewelry and black slingback pumps. What do you think?

Also, our winters are rather mild here so nothing too hot.

Sounds nice, but I would probably not wear charcoal or black to a wedding. Even a brown pencil skirt with brown shoes or something a little more "cheerful." Anyway, it's not a bad outfit, and if you will be confortable, then wear whatever you want, I just suggest maybe not wearing any gloomy colors.
