Cat... I'm agile and I have sharp claws! I'm cute but have no problem protecting myself!!

I am more like a dog in that I am fiercely loyal to my friends and family and will stand up and fight to protect them. Though I do have some touches of cat in that (because I can be shy at first) I come across as a little aloof on first meeting me. I also have that catlike habit of acting like nothing happened when I fall and make a fool of myself before busting out laughing with everyone else. ;-)

Both, in similar and contrasting ways.
Like a cat... most breeds are independent-minded, which is appropriate to me, I like to live by my own rules, am self-protective, an observer, enjoy solitude sometimes. As some breeds, a roamer, and as others, calm and enjoy the familiarity of home.
Like a dog... depends on the breed, I have a beagle and relate with some of her characteristics... alert, smart, problem-solver, have lots of affection to give and appreciate recieving it as well, enjoy nature and walking, independent, and protective of those I love.
