okay, I have tried it - but did not care for the end result. First, yes it does make your lashes shine but doesn't give the plump fullness of mascara and if you accidently brush anything against your eye(s) you just got Vaseline on your face now you risk wiping whatever other make-up you may have on off or worse smudging it. Yes,it is safe just annoying if you get it in your eye cause it kind makes it blurry (but no pain)and if you do try it apply it after you apply all other make-up --my suggestion is to try it on when you are just relaxing at home to get a real feel for it....I hope this works for you

I wouldn't recommend you using Vaseline on your actual eyelashes. If you want your eyelashes to look long and natural then i would recommend using clear mascara. It works great! The clear mascara is fairly inexpensive, make your eyelashes look long and healthy! Also, you can use some of the clear mascara to groom your eyebrows as well and make them look really neat and they'll stay in place all day too!
I use Vaseline sometimes as a lip balm, it makes your lips a bit shiny and really soft!
and also...
I agree with the comments above... Vaseline is good as a makeup remover... sometimes it's really hard to get off eyeliner and mascara...i would just be sure to wash my face after to get all of the Vaseline off... it could give you acne and also makes your face oily.

It is safe and it does look good... in the beggining (for me). I decided to do it last minute before school and my mascara ended up rubbing off on the tops of my eyelid everytime I would blink. It looked bad!! I will never do it again... But that doesn't mean that it will do that to everyone. Just try in on a day when you stay home, and see if it causes your mascara to come off quicker or does anything else that would look bad.
Hope this helped!!!

OK here is another yes and no question. You can use Vaseline BUT, do NOT use it all the time and KEEP it out of your eyes and try to keep it away from your skin.
The reason for this is simple. Vaseline is a by-product of petroleum, hence the name petroleum jelly! Petroleum jelly WILL damage skin cells and clog pores!!!!! It drives me crazy to read people recommending this garbage as a moisturizer and NO IT IS NOT SAFE TO USE ON YOUR SKIN!!!!!!!!!!! The only reason it is still being used is it was "grandfathered in" and "it's all about the money".
So yes it's OK to use occasionally but don't use it all the time.

only prob is it could get into your eyes, and you really don't want that stuff in your eyes, or could get on your facial skin (bad if you've got acne or a potential for acne). although people do take off they're eye makeup with vaseline too..hmm...i'd suggest sticking with mascara, its dermatologist tested for the eye area.

Ya, it works. It looks natural, kind of like using clear mascara. A plus is, it will never run when you cry or are sweaty. I'd def. try it!

Yea, and it looks pretty. But if you apply too much... well you will look like a fool. lol BUT TRY IT INSTEAD OF THE MASCARA, its more natrual and healthy.
