Seems like people ask some pretty weird questions (including me) but they get a bunch of stars. Is it just that I'm not in the "in" crowd of YA? Does noone love me? What about the little people?

Usually the really idiotic and meaningless questions get the most stars, exactly backwards from what it should be. That is my opinion, if it matters great, and if not, even greater!

Being honest, I've found that its mainly friends/contacts that star your questions. There is no rule on how to ask a question that would get stars, people would give them if they found that they personally liked your question or found it interesting - so it's a "personal opinion" which you can gauge. Plus stars don't mean anything at all, unlike points.
