Scientist have just discovered that you have a chemical in your brain that can cure most forms of cancer. The drug can not be replicated, and it's only found in your brain. You have enough to last the world for a long time. BUT, If it is taken from your brain, you are sure to die.....

A part of a brain can be removed without the person dying. Hopefully with the advancement of science the part of the brain necessary to cure cancer can be replicated and produced in a lab.... therefore curing the rest of the world. If this didn't work and I'm holding the cure for the world to rid it of cancer? I would die for everyone else to cure cancer. I only hope others remember me.

As a mother to a 2 1/2 year old and 25 weeks pregnant I would cure cancer but not any time in the very near future.

Very deep question, however I know a bit about medicine.
In your situation taking my brain cures the world of cancer.
So taking "part" of my brain would cure "part" of the world and allow science to examine it an hopefully lead to a medical break through.
We don't even use 25% of our brain so i would happily allow them to an unused portion to study and help people, but I would not sacrifice all of what is me for all of what is them.
