Why do you have a myspace? What do you use it for? Are you one of those people that has like 300 friends but only 50 people you actually know?
I have an account that I only go on once every few weeks, it seems to have lost its entertainment value after a couple years, but it's the best way to keep in touch with friends from college - should I keep it or delete it?

If it helps you keep in touch with your friends from college and you still want to remain in contact with them, then keep it.
For you it has value - it allows you to connect to people you want to remain connected to.
Others have value in collecting 300 friends and don't know a soul.
I wouldn't base judgement on keeping the account for what others use it for. Especially if you do not share their values.

Yep I have a myspace...
In the beginning I used it to keep in touch with some old friends that no longer live locally to me.
Now I simply use it to support my favorite tv drama.

Generally speaking, I hardly ever log in anymore.
I also have a facebook which I dont log into much anymore.
These websites get boring after a while, especially since the crackers/spammers have found holes to use myspace as a way to spread viruses and spam.
In my opinion, these types of websites are good in some cases, but for the most part cause people to be recluse, where we look forward to logging onto a stupid website instead of actually going out and physically seeing a movie with a friend.
If you can balance it, great. But yea, when you are like 60 years old, you'll have fealt like an idiot for having spent so many hours on a website that got you nothing ;).

i have a lot of friends on my myspace. but i do try to respond to everything. i use it to meet new people who have the same interests as me, but i also use it to keep in contact with old friends, like yourself. i dont think you should delete it, because you might regret it once you do it. it cant be restored, and it kinda takes some effort to start a new one and add all of your own friends back if you decide to get another one. just set it to private if its not already, and just get on it whenever you feel like. i do agree with you its lost a lot of its entertainment value. and tom is all the time changing everything. ugh

I do, but most of the people on my site are from networking through my business. The others is from people who I used to live in Saudi Arabia with and from FSU. I haven't seen most of them in 15 years. I never thought I would be able to be in contact with most of them since they are all spread out around the world. Now I'm working on getting a small reunion together next year here in Florida.

no i don't have a myspace because i am attracted to the opposite sex. (myspace is gay, delete it)

keep it to keep in touch with those friends.
Thats why I have mine... Its more like my Email then anything els.e
