Depends...are you the defendant or are you a witness...if you're the defendant, you could be arrested. If you're a witness, you'll get a warning and then if you fail to show up again, you could be arrested.

If you're the defendant and you don't show up then an additional charge of "Failure to appear" will be added to your charges. This carries an additonal fine over and above whatever you're originally charged with. A warrant may also be issued for your arrest.
In addition, if this is a driving related case, your license will be suspended. If you get stopped for any reason, then you'll have yet *another* charge - driving while suspended. That's not just a ticket either - since you're suspended you can't drive off, so your car will probably be towed and impounded, and it will cost you a LOT to get it back out. (which you won't be able to do until you've paid your fines and had your license reinstated)

If you fail to show, the judge can sign a Capias, and have you aprehended. You will be held in a juvenile detention facility until you see the judge, or until your case is heard.
This is the same thing as a warrant, but served on a minor.

they'll come find you.
might as well go.
you'll look better in front of the judge if you show up on time rather than have to be dragged in locked in handcuffs.
