there definitely has to be discipline otherwise the child will run you down and control you

to a point! some ppl get out of hand. they think they're doing the right thing and in the long run, just making it worse! sometimes, the ppl doing the tough love thing, need mental help themselves. you can see there the cause of a lot, of their problems!

if u hit ure child they will hate you if by tough love u mean not coddling them then ok but hitting is never ok take it from a person who grew up with too tough love

I do think that there are situations where it is a good thing...a hard thing to do...but usually has good results given time...at least thats what I have seen.
