why hollywood don't make a great movie on the indians ?

What kind of Indians? Cleveland, Native or India? Major League was good.. 2 stunk. Bollywood has the whole India Indians thing covered and as far as Native... Dances with Wolves? Yeah I guess you're right DWW sucked, there really haven't been any recent movies about Native Americans that where good... One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, the Chief ruled.

Native Americans or Indians from India? Either way the only Native American movie I have seen is Last of the Mohicans, Smoke Signals, Dances with Wolves, that dude from Poltergeist 2, and the dude from the david spade film Joe Dirt. They need to make more movies, but I guess nobody has really got an idea to make one?

Because writers are human, and they can only write about what they're familiar with. The vast majority of people in the U.S. (including writers) have never been to India. The vast majority don't even know much about India. They don't understand its culture, its history, its the religions... so how can you expect them to write about it? Western education is focused on the Western world, which means Europe and North America. That's why the vast majority of movies are set in those locations. The only major movie I can think of in recent years that was set in India was "Ghandi"... but it did win the Academy Award as Best Film. There have been others, but they haven't met with much success with American audiences. So, it's probably up to Indian filmmakers to make films about their nation, and then hope that some of the can cross over to Western audiences.
