My stepfather is redoing a motorcycle and needs to know if you can us fiberglass filler on the metal parts on the motorcycle.

Anywhere except the gas tank. If the tank is damaged get a replacement.

How much heat stress and vibration are the parts in particular going to experience. Metal can expand and contract a little more than fiber glass as well as take great vibration. See if there is a local shop you can contact. A lot of the guys out there will be able to answer your question and might even be willing to help. Good luck!

Which metal parts?
That can be important.

I used Bondo on mine. Gas tank. Plastic side panels. A fender too, I think.
