Last night at dinner, I didn't finish eating my carrots and my sis turned to me and laughed "do i have to do the airplane?" I had no idea what she was talking about and asked her what she meant. She looked at me crazy and asked "are you serious?" and i said yeah and she laughed and walked away.

it's food on a spoon/fork.... and you make airplane noises all the way to the baby's mouth as a game.. to make them eat!

When moms or dads pretend that the food is coming in on an 'airplane' (ie the fork) in an attempt to get their kid to eat whatever food they don't want to eat. This is usually accompained with a lot of funny airplane noises and the fork flying around towards the kids mouth.

Its an old trick some parents used to do with their babies when they don't want to eat something, they take the spoon and call it an airplane and while making airplane sounds they try to get the babies to open their mouths and most of the time the babies will eat once they get that taste.

r u serious?!!!LOL that means she would spoon feed you herself but turn the spoon into a pretend airplane and make airplane noises as she attempts to "land" the "airplane" in your mouth with the food on it. This gets little kids to open their mouth and eat the food. Its a baby game.

She meant she would put the carrots on her spoon and say 'open up here comes the airplane' and fly them into your mouth...like when you feed a little baby?

It's how we feed little kids who don't really want to eat.
You put the food on the spoon, tell the child to "open the hangar door wide, here's comes the airplane" and then swoosh the food into the kids mouth before they know what's happening.
she meant did she have to feed you your veggies like you were a little kids, LOL.

It means she's calling you a baby. :) You know how sometimes mom's pretend the spoon is an airplane to get their babies to eat their food... "open up! here comes the airplane!"
