What do you think about sponge bob being gay?

not that much of a shock i mean come on, he has the highest voice known to man, he wears shorts all of the time, he works as a fry cook and he is yellow the gayest colour known to man, plus he is square the gayest shape known to man and his name is Bob the gayest name known to man

Sponge bob is a cartoon charactor! What is wrong with people that they cant see this? How can a sponge be gay? Why does anyone have to analyze a cartoon .? nothing better to do? If the kids like it and it keeps them occupied Leave him alone! After all I have NEVER seen any evidence that he is trying to influence a small child with the gay idea.I watch spongebob with my kids and I have not seen any sign of being gay.Its just a silly show and has a lot of laughs.

Just like they say...everyone has there own opinion, some might think someones gay and may not be. Has anyone seen sponge Bob suck the life out of the fish

he used to seem "confused" and appeared to be attracted to Sandy and Squidward and he would make semi-Gay references (making the rainbow in his hands while saying "imagination" in "The Idiot Box" episode; asking Mr. Krabs "am i a pretty girl?" in "One Krab's Trash" when Mr.Krabs tells him the soda-drink hat he sold him makes him look like a girl,so he could get it back),but seemed to also enjoy the "Play-Sponge" channel (in "Your Shoes are Untied", SpongeBob is sitting watching a pink sea plant shake around like an exotic dancer and Gary meows and then SpongeBob goes "Gary, i was just looking for the sports channel!" and turns the TV to football). So,with all of the mixed messages i always assumed he was bi-curious. but ever since the media-storm accusing him of being Gay, the show become gayer (in "Gary Takes a Bath", SpongeBob tries to trick Gary into taking a bath by painting the bathtub like a treasure chest and he says that the bars of soap are gold dubloons, "But just don't drop them"), so he may have finally come out of the closet after all of the speculation, but he's so ambiguous,it's really hard to tell...kind of like Clay Aiken.

I'm pretty sure Squidward is Gay,though,because he plays clarinet, likes Interpretive Dance and sleeps in a floral nightgown.

But then again, it's just a cartoon and a great one, so cares if they seem Gay or not?

Totally say it coming, the way Patrick eyes him and cant be without him. And Squidwerd is always playing hard to get. Then you also have Sandy, always walking around with just a bra on and ol' bob there never makes a move. Gay. 100%.

Of course he's gay and happy all the time,
that's what makes him Sponge Bob! ! !

This is as big as the Ernie and Burt controversy of years ago ... they even said they were considering having Ernie get aids on sesame street ... what a load!!

Cartoons don't even have genitals, so how can they be gay or straight .. think about it!!!

Sponge bob? The cute little yellow sponge.

Poor guy. He could be. But little kids don't know that do they?
Plus, Sponge bob is a bit.. Childish for his age, no problem with wanting to be a kid again is there. :)
