How does Google and yahoo detect invalid Clicks?

Primarily by your computer's IP address.
Every computer has a unique ID or IP address.
Google can detect if the clicks are coming from your computer.
There are other things that can also red flag your account such as multiple clicks coming from the same IP address but not necessarily your own.
